Sophomore guard
Rob Lewis leads HBU (5-21, 2-12 SLC) in scoring with 11.9 points per game, and poured in a career-high of 26 points in Saturday's win against Central Arkansas. Junior center
Ricmonds Vilde also scored a career-high of 18 points in the win over the Bears. Sophomore forward
Cody Joyce adds 10.7 points per game and has posted double-digit performances in 21 out of 26 games this season. Freshman forward
Colter Lasher has scored in double figures in four of the last five games, while freshman guard
Jimmy Barton is averaging 4.6 assists since starting the last seven games.
John Jordan leads TAMU-CC (13-14, 10-4) with 15.5 points and 5.3 assists per game. Rashawn Thomas adds 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, while Zane Knowles leads the Islanders with 7.3 boards per game.
This will be the Huskies' first meeting against the Islanders this season. HBU and TAMU-CC have not played since 1972, when the Huskies claimed a 77-66 victory in Corpus Christi to tie the all-time series, 3-3.
The Huskies will be home Tuesday in a non-conference game against Arlington Baptist at 7:30 p.m.
