UTPA leads the all-time series, 15-1, and narrowly defeated the Huskies, 76-74, last season in Houston.
HBU (2-2) won its home opener over Southwestern Assemblies of God, 85-57, Tuesday night.
Rachel Arthur was near-perfect from the floor as she went 10-of-12 from the field and 3-of-3 from the line en route to a career-high 23 points.
Shanice Steenholdt recorded her third double-double of the season with 20 points and 15 rebounds.
Erin McGarrachan scored 12 points, 10 coming in the first half.
Steenholdt leads the team with 19.8 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. Arthur averages 11.8 points per game, while
Tayler Jefferson averages 9.8 points per contest and dishes out a team-best 14 assists.
HBU is shooting 45 percent from the floor compared to 41 percent for its opponents.
UT-Pan American (3-2) had its three-game winning streak snapped by the hands of No. 6 Texas, as the Longhorns defeated UTPA, 72-45, Wednesday night. Shawnte' Goff led the Broncs with 15 points.
On the season, Goff leads the team with 18.0 points per game. Brittany Bush has pulled down a team-best 5.6 rebounds per game and is second with 7.9 points per game.
Both UTPA and its opponents are shooting 37 percent from the floor.
After Saturday's contest, HBU will play at UTEP Dec. 6 at 3 pm central before beginning a four-game home stand against Arlington Baptist Saturday, Dec. 13 at 4 pm.
