Tyler Russell averages 11.8 points per game and leads the team with 21 assists. Senior guard
Marcus Davis averages 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and leads the team with 14 steals.
Jordan Reves leads the Mavericks (4-2) with 10.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game and has 13 blocked shots. Karol Gruszecki adds 9.5 points per game and Kevin Butler 9.3 points per game. Brandon Edwards posts 8.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest, and Jamel Outler averages 8.2 points per game. Shaquille White-Miller leads UTA with 22 assists.
UTA leads the all-time series against HBU, 18-7, and pulled out a 79-74 victory in Houston in last season's meeting on Jan. 24.
The Huskies return home to face Arlington Baptist on Dec. 18, followed by road games at Oregon and LSU. HBU hosts Army on Dec. 31 before traveling to Texas A&M. HBU hosts the Great West Conference opener against UT-Pan American on Jan. 8., but follows with four-straight road games at Utah Valley, UTEP, Chicago State and UMKC.
