For the past six years, Houston Baptist University Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Academics David Moss has spearheaded annual mission trips to Croatia and had a chance to share his experiences over the airwaves this past weekend.

Moss was invited to appear on “A Show of Faith”, hosted by HBU chair of the Department of Christianity and Philosophy Dr. David Capes, Rabbi Stuart Federow and Father Mario Arroyo Sunday nights on 1070AM.

Moss, a former assistant baseball coach at Rice and Indiana, began organizing the trips as a baseball and English teaching mission, but the ministry has expanded to include children's library, orphanage, chamber of commerce and nursing home projects.

“I'm always excited to share about the message of Jesus Christ and our ministry,” Moss said. “Our mottos have always been, 'Our Foot, His Print' and 'Love Them Until They Ask Why'.”
