Misty Jones has announced the final two players to join the Huskies in fall, 2011.
Catching Up with Early Commitments
The women's soccer coaching staff announced five players to suit up for the Huskies in 2011 during the early signing period in early February.
Taylor Gibson, a Sidney, British Columbia, native, played soccer at Parkland Secondary and club at Highlanders FC. She earned the Principal's Honor Roll and Athletic Honor Roll. The M/F joins fellow British Columbia native, Kate Kirkpatrick.
Rebecca Jardon, a defender who hails from Manvel, Texas, attended Dawson High School and played club for Eclipse and the team won state five straight years and were regional quarterfinalists in 2009. She was named First Team All-District and Most Valuable Player.
Lindsay Matlock, a D/M from Sacramento, Calif., attended St. Francis High School and played club for Placer United. She was invited to Olympic Development from 2005-07, Super Y National Camp in 2007 and was part of the ID2 National Invite in 2006-07 .
Lindsey Braddick, a F/D from Missouri City, Texas, played soccer at Elkins High School and played club for Eclipe alongside Rebecca Jardon. At Elkins, Braddick was named First Team All-District as a junior and Second Team All-District as a sophomore.
Natalie Hager is a forward from Port Neches, Texas, who attended Port Neches-Groves High School and played club for Spindletop Select. She earned All-District honors as a sophomore and junior in high school and was the top scorer in the Presidents' Cup 2009. An Offensive MVP selection, she was a member of the Golden Triangle Super Gold Team and was the top scorer in the South Texas State Tournament.

Ally Murphy comes to HBU from El Dorado, California. She was a member of the Honor Roll and played club soccer for the San Juan Spirits '93 ECNL under head coach Tony Perez.
For the Spirits, she totaled two goals and nine assists and was named Player of the Tournament at the Serreno College Showcase in 2009.
Her older sister, Danielle, is a goalkeeper for Great West Conference-member South Carolina State, while her cousin, Sara Harris, is a defender for SCSU.
Jones on Murphy: “Ally is a solid central defender,” said Jones. “We are fortunate to have picked up such a high quality player this late in the year. Ally reads the game very well and will have the opportunity to be an impact player for us this year. Her sister current plays soccer for South Carolina State which will make for a great family and conference rivalry. We are excited that Ally has joined our team.”
Erin Kennedy, a native of Pflugerville, Texas, was named First Team All-District as a sophomore and Second Team All-District as a senior. She was a member of the Honor Roll, the National Junior Honor Society and was Academic All-District. She played club for the Austin Texans.
Jones on Kennedy: "Erin is a smart player who directs from the back. She is a strong player who plays larger than her size. We saw her at camp last year and knew that she would be an asset to our program. We are very excited to have Erin join our team."
Highlights from the 2010 women's soccer season include sophomore defender Arielle Rodriguez being named to the Great West All-Conference Team, four players named to the All-Tournament Team (Rodriguez, Brandi Hart, Cindy Hedden and Shelby Horn), a Tournament Most Valuable Player (Hedden) and the first conference championship.
