Huskies Tie Adelphi, 1-1

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The HBU men's soccer team ended the regular season with a 1-1 double-overtime tie at Adelphi Monday afternoon in New York.

Freshman Walter Kromholz scored his first collegiate goal in the 13th minute, assisted by Mateo Jimenez. The teams ended the half with the Huskies up, 1-0.

Adelphi tied the match in the 66th minute, as Alexande Kouznetsov scored, unassisted.

The Huskies were outshot 20-10 as Chris Dodd made 10 saves to help the Huskies earn the tie. Adelphi's Thorne Holder made two stops.

HBU (7-7-2) will remain in New York as Adelphi will host the 2010 Atlantic Soccer Conference Tournament, from Nov. 11-14. HBU, with a conference mark of 3-0-1, is the top seed. Refer back to www.hbuhuskies.com for complete tournament information.
