Junior libero Courtney Whittleman was named the Great West Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was selected to the all-conference second team this past week. The Houston native led the league in digs with 5.42 digs per game. She recorded 20 or more digs 12 times, including three matches of 30 or more, and moved into third place on HBU's all-time digs list.
