Senior Scott Boon won the gold medal in the decathlon at the Southland Conference Championships, overcoming a near 300-point deficit over the final two events to retain his title. The Dronten, The Netherlands, native scored 7,421 points, then added a bronze medal on Sunday in the pole vault.
