Freshman receiver Josh Sterns made five catches for a school-record 209 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-33 loss to Texas Tech. The Waxahachie, Texas, native averaged 41.8 yards per catch and he and his older brother, Jerreth, combined to put up 17 catches, 339 yards and three scores.
