For the second week in a row, Christopher Welch broke his own program record in the triple jump. The sophomore took first place this past weekend at the FasTrak Collegiate Invitational with a top distance of 15.94m/52-3.75. That mark ranks him eighth nationally in the event and is the best mark in the Southland Conference by more than a foot and a half.
