Perri finished in third place at the Rice Cross Country Invitational Friday evening, helping the men to a fifth-place finish. He finished behind the 2010 Southland Conference winner, Patrick Kimeli of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and just nine seconds behind second-place finisher Alex Bruce-Littlewood of McNeese State.
