Men's basketball senior center Josh Ibarra led the Huskies to a pair of wins this week, averaging 19.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.0 blocks per game. In Saturday's 71-52 victory over Texas State, the Angleton, Texas, native had 14 points, a career-high 17 rebounds, six assists and three blocks. In Tuesday's 96-66 win over Dallas Christian, Ibarra poured in 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, handed out five assists and posted five blocks. For his efforts, Ibarra was voted Southland Conference Player of the Week.
