Junior outside hitter Jessica Wooten was a Jaguar Invitational All-Tournament selection. She started all 17 sets in helping the HBU women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 record on the week. She totaled 51 kills (3.00 per set) and 53 digs (3.12 per set) in turning in three double-double efforts. Wooten finished with 12 digs and 10 kills against Prairie View A&M, 16 digs and 16 kills, both season-highs, at South Alabama and 16 digs and 13 kills against McNeese State. She added 12 kills against Samford. She also finished with seven blocks and five service aces. For her efforts, Wooten was named Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
