Burnett led HBU with a .450 batting average, .750 slugging percentage, and nine hits in five games last week. Her home run in the top of the eighth at Houston was the eventual game-winning run as the Huskies defeated a UH team that was receiving votes in the most recent NFCA poll, 6-5 in eight innings. It was the first victory for the Huskies over UH in program history. She then went 4-for-11 (.364) with a double, triple, RBI and run, as the Huskies won their second-straight Southland Conference series, defeating Abilene Christian.
