Jones extended his hitting streak to 15, collecting two hits in each of the four games on the week, on his way to batting .400 (8-for-20). In Saturday's second-game win over Northeastern, Jones reached base safely four times, going 2-for-3 with a walk, a hit by pitch, and two runs, as he also pitched his first career complete-game shutout, as he allowed just five hits and struck out two. His outstanding pitching performance came after he played third base in the first game against NU and went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.
