Russell averaged 14.0 points per game in the Huskies' 1-1 conference weekend. He scored seven points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded one assist and one steal in the Huskies' loss to Chicago State on Thursday. He exploded for 21 points, three rebounds and three assists in Saturday's win over NJIT. The 21 points were one shy of his career high, as he shot 10-of-14 from the floor.
