2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Torres-Rivera sat out the season due to NCAA and Southland Conference transfer rules…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll.
 
Previous School: Played one season at Stephen F. Austin, helping the Ladyjacks to the 2018 Southland Conference regular-season and touranment titles, while advancing to the NCAA Tournament...was named Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 8...appeared in 31 matches, including eight starts, and 87 sets...averaged 2.13 digs per set...notched a career-high 26 digs in a four-set victory over Northwestern State (10/6)...had a career-high five aces against Grambling State (9/8) and a season-high four assists against Southeastern Louisiana (10/4).
 
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at Dawson High School for coach Jason Karim...was a TAVC and TGCA All-State selection...was named GHVCA Defensive Player of the Year, as well as District 23-6A Defensive Player of the Year...was a three-time first-team all-district honoree...led the Eagles to a 31-4 record and regional semifinal appearance in 2017, finishing the year ranked ninth in the state...did not lose a district match (24-0) over her final two seasons...was a two-time academic all-district selection and earned TGCA Academic All-State honors...played club volleyball for Absolute Volleyball Academy.
