Jerry Aldridge

    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Jerry Aldridge is in his eighth season as the volunteer assistant coach with HBU volleyball.
The Huskies have advanced to the Southland Conference Tournament in each of their five seasons in the league, with HBU making its best showing by tying for third in 2017.
Aldridge brings more than 25 years of international playing and coaching experience to the Huskies’ program. He began his volleyball career while serving in the United States Air Force, becoming a top national middle blocker recruit, before leaving the military after receiving a scholarship to play at Brigham Young.
Prior to serving as assistant coach under HBU head coach Trent Herman at St. Thomas, Aldridge was the head coach at Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas, and spent nearly 12 years serving as director and coach for the Delta Juniors and Little Rock Juniors Volleyball Clubs. He currently serves as a master trainer and coach with the Texas Tornados in Houston.
He and his wife Shannon, reside in Lake Jackson and have two daughters, Shaylee and Peyton, and a son, Colt.
