Biography
2014: Iheanacho played in all 11 games, with six starts, at wide receiver…made 10 catches for 67 yards with one touchdown…caught a 12-yard touchdown pass at Texas College (9/20)…made a season-long 23-yard reception against Abilene Christian (9/27).
2013: Appeared in three games, making one catch for seven yards…his reception came against Texas A&M-Commerce…wa also a member of the Huskies’ track and field team…recorded the team’s season best mark of 6-2 ¾ in the high jump to finish ninth at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships.
Previous College: Played one season at West Texas A&M for coach Don Carthel.
High School: Was a three-year starter at Westside High School for coach Mark Byrd.
Personal: Full name is Davis Kelechi Iheanacho...born Sept. 5, 1993, in Houston…son of Samuel Azubike and Christiana Iheanacho…has two brothers, Franklin and Preston, and two sisters, Nancy and Phyllis…majoring in kinesiology.
