Biography

HBU: Led the team with a 76.0 stroke average in the fall of 2010…posted the team’s lowest round with a 2-under par 70 at the McNeese State Cowgirl Invitational…won the rain-shortened tournament and led the Huskies to the team title…tied for 11th at the Worldlink North Texas Fall Classic…tied for 12th at the F&M Bank APSU Invitational…named the 2010 Great West Conference Newcomer of the Year as a freshman…also earned Great West Second-Team All-Conference honors…was the Huskies’ top finisher three times and was named Great West Conference Player of the Week twice…she compiled seven top-10 finishes for the season, including four top-fives…placed second individually twice…had a season-best round of 72.

 

High School: Three-time Mexican National Champion…member of the Mexican Team, which she represented in several international competitions…earned International Player of the Year honors on the Texas Junior Golf Tour during the 2008-09 season…finished in the top 10 of all the TJGT events she entered…was an honor roll student.

 

Personal: Born July 8, 1990, in Monterrey, Mexico…daughter of Alejandro Guajardo and Martha Ibarra…has one brother, Alejandro, and two sisters, Catalina and Daniela…majoring in mass communication.
