Biography

2001-02 (Junior): Earned All-America honors for the second-straight year...appeared in 37 games with 35 starts, averaging 17.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest...registered 79 steals, 28 assists, and 11 blocked shots...scored a career-high 32 points at SAGU (2/23/02)...named All-Conference for the third-straight season...also earned Academic All-Conference honors.

2000-01 (Sophomore): Became first HBU women's basketball player to earn All-America honors...averaged 15.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in 38 contests, with 34 starts...registered 80 steals, 29 assists, and 10 blocked shots...became first women's basketball player to be a member of 1000-point club with 1,082 points after only two seasons...named co-Offensive Player of the Year, All-RRAC, and Academic All-Conference.

1999-00 (Freshman): Appeared in 34 games with four starts...led team in rebounding (8.3 rpg) and second in scoring (14.4 ppg)...scored a season-high 30 points and pulled down 19 rebounds at Dallas Christian (11/13/99)...named RRAC Player of the Week, All-RRAC honors, and RRAC Academic All-Conference.

High School: All-State and District MVP as a senior...two-time All-District and led her team to state tournament as a senior while playing for coach Doug Lechtenberger...one of the top scorers in Houston area.

Personal: Biology and business marketing major...born Feb. 19, 1981...daughter of James and Ella Andrews...father played basketball at Southern-New Orleans...has one sister, Terra, who played basketball at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi...enjoys singing and sports.
