Before HBU: Transfer from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., where she lettered in track and field for head coach Andre English...she finished third in the 4x1 and eighth in the indoor triple jump.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in track for coach Alexis Hill...made it to regionals all four years...two-time Team MVP and won the 2012 Field Event Award...earned the STAR Scholar and was an Honor Student in 2013.
Personal: Full name is Michelle Nnedi Chukwujekwu...majoring in psychology...born Oct. 6, 1995 in Garland, Texas...daughter of Emmanuel and Stella Chukwujekwu...has one brother, Emmanuel, Jr., and one sister, Jennifer...enjoys reading and playing sports.
