Biography

2013 (Senior): Appeared in 11 games with eight starts in the circle...accumulated a 2-5 record and a 3.11 ERA with three complete games and one shutout...struck out 23 batters while walking 20...her lone shutout came in her Husky debut against Southern (2/15)...struck out a career-high four batters in back-to-back starts: against UTSA (3/6) and at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/10)...she went 1-4 with a 3.33 ERA in conference play.

2012 (Junior): Saw action in three games while battling injuries...was used as a pinch runner against Drake (2/24), at UH-Victoria (3/3) and against Utah Valley (3/13)....she scored a run against UVU.

Before HBU: Played two years at Galveston College...she allowed just a .169 opponent batting average and an ERA of 1.44 in 2011 for the Whitecaps...she struck out 91 batters in 112 innings.

High School: Attended Carlton Comprehensive High School and received many academic honors...played softball for the Prince Albert Aces and competed in many provincial and Western Canada Championships...she earned Second Team All-Conference Pitcher 2010 honors and was selected to play on the Texas Junior College All-Star Team in 2010.

Personal: Full name is Lori Dawn Earl...a management major...born July 18, 1991, in Winnipeg, Manitoba...daughter of Gord and Debbie Earl...has one brother, Greg, and two sisters, Gwen and Kelly...Kelly is her twin sister...enjoys playing sports, camping, shopping, listening to music and being with friends.
