2016 Second Team All-SLC

2016 (Sophomore): Second Team All-Southland Conference...started all 44 games… batted .313 (42-for-134) with a .433 slugging percentage and two home runs…tied for second on the team in runs (20), RBI (15), doubles (8)…led the team with 11 walks…batted .325 in conference play…finished a double shy of hitting for the cycle against Northwestern State (3/18), going 3-for-4 with a single, triple and home run, three RBI and two runs scored…was a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs scored, two RBI and a walk against Sam Houston State (4/16)…had 11 multi-hit games…had an eight-game hitting streak (3/25-4/8).

2015 (Freshman): Appeared and started in 44 games...hit .278 (32-for-115) with one triple, one home run, 17 RBI and 13 runs...registered seven doubles, tied for second on the team...went 3-for-4 with four RBI, a pair of runs and one home run against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2/15)...had a seven-game hitting streak (4/24-5/1).

High School: A four-year letterwinner for head coach Brian Tuffly...led the team in triples in both 2011 and 2012 and finished second in 2013...had a .453 batting average in 2011, hit .425 in 2012 and .400 in 2011...led the team with 40 hits in 2013....had 46 hits in 2011 and 41 in 2013...led Bellaire with 40 runs in 2013...also recorded 45 runs in 2012 and 56 in 2011...had a combined 73 stolen bases across career, led by 30 swipes in 2013...played club for Houston Power Glowacz 18U Gold and head coach John Glowacz...named Triple Crown All-American in 2012...team qualified for the ASA Gold Nationals in 2013 with five-straight wins.

Personal: Full name is Olivia Electa Brown...born July 30, 1996, in Houston...daughter of Craig and Electa Brown...has one brother, Cameron...enjoys arts and crafts, dancing, swimming, and paintball...majoring in creative writing/sport marketing.
