2023: Appeared in eight games and started the final three games of the season…led HCU in rushing yards with 542 on the season…gained 542 yards on 101 carries to average 5.4 yards per carry and 67.8 yards per game on the ground…led the team with five rushing touchdowns…returned five kicks for 97 yards and averaged 80 all-purpose yards per game…ranked fourth in the SLC in total rushing yards (542) and rushing yards per game (67.8) and his five rushing touchdowns tied for third-most in the league…rushed for a career-high 171 yards, along with a touchdown, on 33 carries in a win over McNeese (11/11) for the fifth-highest single-game total in program history…ran for 82 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries vs. Lamar (9/30)…gained 87 yards and scored once on 13 carries in a win over Prairie View (10/14)…ran for another touchdown in a three-carry, 62-yard performance against Arkansas Baptist (9/2)…his five rushing touchdowns are tied for third-most in a season in school history while his 542 yards gained is eighth all-time.

Previous Schools: Valenzuela played two seasons at Ventura College, appearing in 20 games total…carried the ball 106 times as a sophomore for 641 yards with four touchdowns and also caught 24 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown…eclipsed 100 yards rushing twice as a sophomore, including a 140-yard game vs. East Los Angeles…rushed for 270 yards on 35 carries as a freshman, scoring four touchdowns…played high school football at Camarillo High School.
