Natali Duron is now in her first season as Associate Head Coach after eight years as an assistant.
A two-year letter-winner as a utility player at the University of the Incarnate Word, Duron started 90 of the 95 games she played in her two seasons in the Alamo City. As a senior, she batted .315 and was second on the team in RBI for the Cardinals.
She then earned a Master’s in Sport and Fitness Administration from the University of Houston in 2017 before being named assistant coach at HCU in 2018. Duron has helped the Huskies win 20 or more games four times in seven full seasons excluding the Covid-shortened 2020 campaign. HCU has advanced to four consecutive Southland Conference Tournament appearances.
Duron was an All-District performer at Pasadena Memorial High School in Pasadena, Texas before embarking on a two-year All-Conference career at McLennan Community College in Waco, where she batted .352 and .375 for the Highlassies in consecutive seasons.
She is the daughter of Joe and Elizabeth Duron. She has one sister, Rachel.
