Lyndie Swanson enters her second season as an assistant coach at HCU after a stellar five-year career in the circle for the Huskies.
The Katy, Texas native was a two-time All-Southland Conference selection for the Huskies and ended her time on Beechnut Street in the heart of the leaderboards of several pitching categories. The career leader in total appearances for the Huskies also tied for first all-time in saves, while finishing fifth in innings pitched, seventh in shutouts, eighth in victories and 10th in strikeouts.
After winning nine games in three straight seasons, Swanson won six of her final eight decisions as a senior, going 10-8 with a 2.93 ERA and a single-season best 81 strikeouts in 112.1 innings.
In addition to her on-the-field exploits, Swanson was selected to the Southland Academic All-Conference team as a senior and was earned SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll accolades five times, one of just four players in school history to do so. She also earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors after the 2023 season.
Swanson graduated from HCU with a degree in Graphic Design and a Master's Studio Art.
