2015, 2016 CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District
2016 (Junior): 2016 CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District…appeared in 42 games, starting 41…batted .257 (27-for-105) with 17 runs scored, 15 RBI (tied for second on the team), four doubles, four home runs and four stolen bases…drove in a career-high four RBI at South Houston State (4/1), going 2-for-4 at the plate and adding a pair of runs scored…also had a three-hit game against Sam Houston (4/15), going 3-for-4 and finishing the three-game series with the Bearkats 6-for-11…had four multi-hit games…recorded five outfield assists.
2015 (Sophomore): 2015 CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District...played in 41 games with 38 starts...led the team and was 14th in the Southland Conference with a .356 batting average, going 32-for-90 at the plate...registered three doubles, one triple, two home runs, eight RBI and 17 runs scored... went 5-for-5 in stolen bases and had seven sacrifice bunts...set a new career high with three hits (3-for-3) against Southern Miss. (2/14), then matched that by going 3-for-5 a week later against Valpo (2/20)...went 2-for-3 with a home run and a career-high three RBI at Stephen F. Austin (4/3)...also hit a two-run homer against Central Arkansas (4/24).
2014 (Freshman): Southland Conference Spring Honor Roll...appeared in 46 games with 39 starts...hit .234 with 25 hits, three doubles, one triple, four home runs, 13 RBI, and 24 runs scored...had a career-high two RBI against Southeast Missouri State (2/14)...scored a career-high three runs in collegiate debut against Jackson State (2/8)...had five multi-hit games...hit .258 with 16 hits, two doubles, one triple, two home runs, five RBI and 11 runs scored in conference play.
High School: A four-year letterwinner and starter at Refugio High School under head coach Cortney Hunkapillar...named District Newcomer as a freshman, and District MVP as a sophomore and senior...a three-time member of the All-Area Team...named All-Area MVP as a senior and was a member of the All-Area Team as a freshman...was a member of the All-South Texas Preseason Team as a senior...named All-State Softball Coaches’ Choice Association and Sports Writers All-State Honorable Mention...was a member of the Academic All-District team all four years and was named Academic All-State as a senior..team captain as a senior and led the Lady Cats to the Regional Final as the team went 20-3...earned the High School Softball MVP Award all four years...also was awarded the Lady Cat Fighting Heart Award for three years and the Girls Athlete of the Year as a senior...hit .476 with 30 RBI, 37 runs scored and seven homers as senior...also was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter in basketball...team captain as a junior and senior...won High School Basketball MVP during junior year...three-time All-District selection and earned Academic All-District honors all four years...lettered in track all four years, qualifying three years for the Regional meet...was part of the district championship team as a junior and her senior year sprint relay team made it to the Regional finals...also lettered one year in volleyball, receiving Academic All-District honors....was a member of the National Honor Society for three years...was in Student Council all four years, holding offices of treasurer, vice-president, and president...was in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and participated in the PALS peer tutoring program with elementary students...was sophomore and junior class president...was an active member of the 4-H club for 10 years and was a 4-H ambassador...played club softball for the Houston Power and head coach John Glowacz for six years...the team made the ASA Nationals in Oklahoma and Florida as U-18 teams.
