Prior to HBU: Played two seasons at Paris Junior College for head coach Angelica Castro…had a .294 batting average, hit two home runs and recorded 1.000 fielding percentage as a freshman…posted .305 batting average with 18 RBIs, 18 runs and three home runs…was second on her team in hits and led the team in doubles…made the Dean’s List all four semesters…was a member of Phi Theta Kappa both years…awarded third team all-academic.

High School: Herrera was a four-year letterwinner at Channelview High School for coach Tara Megilligan…had a .321 batting average and an on base percentage of .429 in 2012…had a 6.14 ERA in 2013…led the team in home runs in 2013 and 2014…second on the team in RBI in 2013…as a senior she had a 4.63 ERA and a .357 batting average.
