2006 (Junior): Named Red River Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year and earned All-RRAC honors...started all 18 games and scored a team-best 10 goals while dishing out seven assists for a team-high 27 points.

Before HBU: Transfer from McMurry University.

High School: All-State selection...also chosen All-Region, All-District, and All-Galveston County.

Personal: Education and psychology major...born Aug. 22, 1985...son of Ron and Becky Acosta...has one sister, Hailey.
