HBU: Had a stroke average of 78.4 for the fall of 2010…posted a low round of 73 in the first round of the HBU Men’s Intercollegiate…finished 24th at the Huskies’ home tournament.
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner and two-year captain at Elkins High School for coach Bill Bloodworth…was a two-time regional finalist and won two events on the Texas Junior Golf Tour…was the runner-up to current HBU teammate Trey Cassity at the Houston Golf Association Match Play Championship in 2010…was a three-year academic letterman.
Personal: Full name is Edward Daniel Cruz…born Nov. 29, 1991, in Manila, Philippines…son of Emmanuel and Normita Cruz…has one brother, Zachary, and one sister, Abigail…enjoys playing ping pong and listening to classical music…majoring in business.
