HIGH SCHOOL: Harris made the varsity as an eighth-grader and was a three-year starter at Half Hollow Hills West High School in Dix Hills, N.Y., where he played for coach Mittaritonna…as a senior, averaged 25.3 points and 11 rebounds per game, after averaging 22 points and eight rebounds as a junior…averaged 10.4 points per game his sophomore year…was a two-time scholar-athlete, and averaged 18 points per game for his AAU teams, Unique All-Stars and Albany City Rocks.
