Biography

2023: Evans appeared in nine games...ended the season with 11 tackles, including a career-high three tackles on two occasions, vs. Arkansas Baptist (9/2) and at Southeastern (9/23), with a tackle for loss against the Lions…recorded two tackles at UT Martin (9/16).

2022: Evans appeared in four games...totaled four tackles, two for a loss, and forced two fumbles…forced both fumbles on tackles for loss at Lamar (10/1)…also recorded two tackles vs. UT Martin (10/29).

2021: Evans appeared in four games...recorded three tackles and recovered a fumble…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School: Played at Carver High School for coach Corey Joyner. As a senior, he recorded 65 tackles, 12 for loss, including five sacks, and forced a fumble in eight games.
