Biography

2018: Stewart played in nine games as a sophomore…recorded 26 tackles (12 solo), with two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and a pass breakup…made a career-high seven tackles at Northwestern State (10/27)…posted five tackles, one sacke and forced a fumble against Nicholls (11/3).

2017: Appeared in five games, including one start, as a freshman…made one tackle and forced a fumble at Nicholls (11/4)…made one tackle against Southeastern Louisiana (10/14).

High School: Was a three-year starter at Lakeview Centennial High School for coach Kendall Miller.

Personal: Full name is Tyrell Tayon Stewart…born Sept. 29, 1998, in Tulsa, Oklahoma…son of Emmanuel Stewart and Lisa White…has one sister, Lindsey Cunningham.
