2016: Holmes appeared in eight games as a junior...recorded 26 tackles (11 solo), forced a fumble and had a pass breakup…posted a career-high 10 tackles, including 1.5 for losses of 20 yards, and forced a fumble against second-ranked Sam Houston State (9/24)…made eight tackles against Abilene Christian (9/17).

2015: Holmes played in all 11 games as a sophomore, making 22 tackles (14 solo) and an interception...made two tackles and recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown in the season opener against Bethany (9/5)…recorded five tackles and an interception against Central Arkansas (10/10)…posted five stops against Southeastern Louisiana (10/24)…made four tackles against Lamar (10/31) and at Stephen F. Austin (11/14).

2014: Appeared in nine games as a true freshman…recorded six solo tackles...made a season-high three tackles against Sam Houston State (11/15).

High School: Was a two-year letterwinner for Coach Trent Faith at Cypress Woods High School in Cypress…as a senior, recorded 85 tackles, was named team captain and earned all-district honors.
