Biography

2020: Ijiyera played in all four games…made seven tackles and had one quarterback hurry…recorded three tackles in the opener at North Texas (9/5)…made two stops at Texas Tech (9/12)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2019: Appeared in 10 games, making 14 tackles, recording three quarterback hurries and a blocked kick…made a career-high five tackles against Lamar (11/16)…registered four stops against Southeastern Louisiana (10/26)…had two quarterback hurries and blocked an extra point in the third quarter that maintained a 31-30 HBU lead against South Dakota (9/14).

2018: Redshirted after missing the entire season with an injury.

2017: Appeared in four games, including one start as a freshman…made two tackles against Southeastern Louisiana (10/14).

High School: Played at Lake Dallas High School for coach Michael Young...as a senior, recorded 31 tackles, nine for loss and one sack.
