2022: Smith started four games while appearing in all 11 of the team’s contests…carried the ball 31 times for 96 yards while also making 12 catches for 60 yards…led the team with 16 kick returns for 315 yards with a long of 36…matched his career-high of 25 yards on five carries vs. Nicholls (10/8)…gained 24 yards on five carries vs. Northwestern State (10/15)…also picked up 24 yards on nine rushes at Texas State (9/24)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2021: Smith appeared in eight games…rushed 27 times for 73 yards and made nine catches for 40 yards and a touchdown...rushed for 25 yards and caught five passes for 30 yards and a touchdown against Nicholls (10/23)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2020: Appeared in one game, at Louisiana Tech (9/26) …named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Smith was a four-year letterwinner at Tompkins High School for coach Todd McVey, finishing as the school’s all-time leading rusher…for his career, rushed 579 times for 4,363 yards and 55 touchdowns, while making 51 receptions for 542 yards and seven touchdowns…as a senior, rushed for 1,278 yards and 20 touchdowns and made 15 catches for 143 yards and three scores…as a junior, rushed for 2,667 yards and 30 touchdowns, while making 14 catches for 192 yards and three touchdowns…earned all-state honors, was a two time-first team All-District 19-6A selection, Offensive MVP and named to Texas Football All-State Team…also lettered in basketball and track…father, Robert, played professional baseball for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
