2022: Olivas made four appearances as a sophomore…completed 6-of-9 passes for 58 yards…threw for 46 yards on 4-of-7 passing in a backup role vs. Northwestern State (10/15)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2021: Olivas appeared in eight games, including seven starts…completed 156-of-273 passes for 1,383 yards, six touchdowns and 13 interceptions…Went 23-for-42 for 239 yards and three touchdowns at Southeastern (10/16)…completed 38-of-49 passes for 274 yards and a touchdown at UIW (10/30)…his 38 completions rank fifth in a single game in HBU history…completed 28-of-40 passes for 281 yards at Northwestern State (11/6)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School: Olivas was a two-year starter at Eastlake High School in El Paso for coach Ruben Rodriguez, completing 60.4 percent of his passes for 5,429 yards and 54 touchdowns, while rushing for 662 yards and seven touchdowns in 19 career games…as a senior, completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,365 yards and 17 touchdowns in five games…was named the Fox Sports Southwest Built Ford Tough Player of the Week, throwing for 400 yards and four touchdowns in 53-14 victory over Coronado…as a junior, threw for 3,865 yards and 35 touchdowns, while rushing for 425 with seven touchdowns…was also the district MVP in basketball, earning city offensive MVP, district offensive MVP and first-team all-city honors…had a 4.0 GPA, is a member of the Principal Advisory Committee and Superintendent Advisory Committee.
