Previous Schools: Koontz spent a redshirt season at Sacramento State as a true freshman, appearing in the last four games of the season…returned a kick for 17 yards against Cal Poly and also had a special teams tackle…was a three-year letterwinner in high school at Douglas High School in Minden, Nev….caught 20 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns as a senior.
