High School: Butts was a two-year starter for Coach Mark Schmid at The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands…was a first-team all-district and second-team all-county selection…led the team with 59 knockdowns and did not allow a sack…as a power lifter, was a regional qualifier and had the best bench press in the region at 465 pounds.
