2014: Baker appeared in six games with three starts at quarterback as a redshirt freshman...completed 32-of-83 passes for 366 yards, one touchdown and six interceptions…was 8-for-17 for a season-high 162 yards with a touchdown against Abilene Christian (9/27)…against the Wildcats, connected with Darian Lazard for a 77-yard touchdown pass, which ranks as the longest play from scrimmage in HBU history…completed a 52-yard pass to Maxwell Brown at Incarnate Word (10/4).

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner at Navasota High School for coach Lee Fedora…MaxPreps High School All-American…as a senior, passed for 4,421 yards with 55 touchdowns, rushed for five touchdowns and had eight interceptions to lead the Rattlers to the Texas Class 3A State Championship…as a junior, passed for 3,074 yards, 40 touchdowns, rushed for 10 touchdowns and had three interceptions…made the A/B honor roll.
