2023: McCarter made three appearances during his sophomore campaign…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2022: Appeared in five games as a true freshman…made one catch for three yards at Texas State (9/24).

High School: McCarter was a two-year letterwinner at Cedar Hill High School for coach Carlos Lynn…helped lead Cedar Hill to the 2021 Texas Class 6A Division II championship game…had 12 knockdown blocks and made two receptions for seven yards.
