2015: Buffin played in five games, starting all five, as a sophomore...made 18 tackles, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, made one interception and broke up a pass…made four tackles and broke up a pass against Northern Colorado (9/12)…recorded six tackles, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble at Abilene Christian (9/19)…posted five tackles and an interception at Sam Houston State (9/26).

2014: Played in 10 games, including four starts, as a true freshman…ranked six on the team with 42 tackles (34 solo)…recorded one tackle for a loss of two yards…second on the team with two interceptions for returns totaling 10 yards…had four pass breakups and six defensed…made 16 tackles (14 solo) and two pass breakups against Nicholls (10/25)…made 11 tackles against Sam Houston State (11/15)…returned an interception 10 yards for a touchdown against Texas College (9/20).

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter for Coach Joey McGuire at Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill…as a senior, recorded 65 tackles with 14 pass breakups, one interception, seven forced fumbles and three recoveries in leading the Longhorns to the Class 5A Division II state championship…as a junior, posted 88 tackles, two interceptions, returning both for a touchdown, and five fumble recoveries…had 18 tackles and one pass defended as a sophomore…was a two-time Academic All-District 7-5A honoree…on the track, was a member of the 4x100 relay team for three years.
