2019: Sterns earned All-Southland Conference Third Team and Southland Conference All-Academic Team honors…led the nation with 105 receptions, recording 833 yards and nine touchdowns…ranked 10th in the conference with 69.4 receiving yards per game and tied for fourth in touchdown receptions…returned 17 punts for 121 yards with a long of 28 yards and ranked third in the conference with a 7.1-yard punt return average…also completed 2-of-4 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown and rushed 11 times for nine yards and a touchdown…made eight catches for 62 yards at UTEP (8/31)…had six catches for 44 yards and a touchdown against Texas Wesleyan (9/7)…made 10 catches for 114 yards at South Dakota (9/14)…made nine catches for 89 yards and a touchdown, while adding a nine-yard touchdown pass against Northwestern State (9/21)…had 12 catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns against Texas Southern (9/28)…tied the Southland Conference record with 18 receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown against UIW (11/5)…had 10 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown at Abilene Christian (10/12)…made nine catches for 56 yards at McNeese (10/19)…held to two catches for 13 yards, but rushed for a six-yard touchdown against Southeastern Louisiana (10/26)…made seven catches for 54 yards at #25 Nicholls (11/9)…made five catches for 53 yards and tied the school record with three receiving touchdowns, while also completing a 38-yard pass against Lamar (11/16)…made nine catches for 57 yards at Sam Houston State (11/23)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

2018: Played in all 11 games as a freshman, earning All-Southland Conference honorable mention…led the Southland Conference and set the school record with 68 catches for 684 yards and four touchdowns, rushed eight times for 27 yards and a touchdown and was 2-for-2 on completions for 63 yards and a touchdown…recorded three of the seven 100-yard receiving performances in HBU history…made 11 catches for 115 yards at Central Arkansas (10/6)…had 11 catches, tying his own school record, for 67 yards and rushed for a touchdown against Nicholls (11/3)…made nine catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns and completed a 42-yard touchdown pass at Southeastern Louisiana (10/13)…posted eight catches for 107 yards and completed a 21-yard pass at Lamar (11/10)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for coach Jon Kitna, who is a former NFL quarterback...played on both sides of the ball as a senior, scoring 18 total touchdowns and making eight interceptions...earned academic all-state honors and was an academic all-district honoree all four years.

Personal: Has six siblings...brother, Josh, is a freshman on the HBU football team…brother, Caden, is a junior on the University of Texas football team...brother, Jordan, played for the Kansas City Chiefs after playing collegiately at Oklahoma State and his brother, Jamison, played at West Texas A&M...his father, James, played basketball at Baylor.
