Biography

2023: Sherfield appeared in seven games and made four starts…finished fourth on the team with 19 receptions and was fifth with 174 receiving yards…matched his career-high with four catches at Southeastern (9/23) while also totaling a career-high 61 yards and catching his first touchdown pass…had four catches for 37 yards at Western Kentucky (9/9)…finished with three receptions for 22 yards at Nicholls (10/7) and hauled in three catches for 21 yards at UT Martin (9/16).

2022: Sherfield appeared in eight games…recorded eight catches for 72 yards…had two catches for 35 yards at Tarleton (11/19) and two catches for 21 yards vs. Nicholls (10/8).

2021: Sherfield did not see action.

2020: Played in two games…made five catches for 53 yards…had one catch for 33 yards at North Texas (9/5)…made four catches for 20 yards at Louisiana Tech (9/26).

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner at Allen High School for coach Terry Gambill…caught seven passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns in the final game of his career against Rockwall in the playoffs.
