2015: Hayes played in six games as a sophomore, making three tackles…had three tackles and returned a fumble 27 yards against College of Faith (10/3).

2014: Appeared in 10 games at linebacker…made six solo tackles…had two tackles for losses, totaling 12 yards…recorded a sack for a loss of eight yards and blocked a kick…made two tackles against Central Arkansas (10/11), Southeastern Louisiana (11/8) and Sam Houston State (11/15)…also recorded a sack against Sam Houston State…blocked an extra point at Lamar (11/1).

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner for Coach John Campbell at Brandeis High School in San Antonio…helped lead the Broncos to the regional finals…earned four letters in track…was a member of the National Honor Society.
