Carter Foster was named HCU's tight ends coach ahead of the 2023 season.

Foster spent the 2022 season as the tight ends coach at Texas Lutheran, helping guide tight end Aaron Sotelo to All-American honors and leading a room of eight tight ends that accounted for 63 receptions, 624 yards and nine touchdowns. Prior to his season at TLU, he was a student assistant at SMU for two years and primarily worked with the Mustangs' offensive line.

A native of Fort Worth, Foster played one season at SMU and ultimately earned his bachelor of of arts from SMU in 2022.
