Blaise Bentsen

Blaise Bentsen is in his second season at HCU, serving as the offensive graduate assistant.
Bentsen began the 2021 season as the Huskies’ starting quarterback, but suffered a career-ending injury in his third start against Prairie View A&M. In 10 career games, he completed 62-of-114 passes for 580 yards and six touchdowns, while rushing for 99 yards and a pair of scores.
He played two seasons at Sherman High School, completing 121-of-253 passes for 1,450 yards and nine touchdowns, while rushing for 462 yards and nine more scores to earn District 7-5A honorable mention. As a junior, Bentsen completed 134-of-238 passes for 1,677 yards, 13 touchdowns and rushed for 530 yards and five touchdowns to earn second-team all-District 5-5A and Herald Democrat All-Texomaland second-team honors.
Bentsen earned his bachelor of science degree in kinesiology/sport management in May 2022.
