Adam Fujiwara is in his first season on staff at HCU, serving as the program’s special teams coordinator.
In 2025, Fujiwara served as special teams coordinator and cornerbacks coach at Howard Payne while also handling director of operations duties for the Yellow Jackets’ program as part of the 2025 ASC Coaching Staff of the Year. The year prior, he was a part of the staff at Lamar as a graduate assistant working with special teams and specialists. While working with the Cardinals, Fujiwara mentored freshman all-America punter Chase Leon.
Before joining the college coaching ranks, Fujiwara spent three seasons coaching wide receivers, running backs and specialists at Northwood High School in Irvine, California.
Fujiwara was an all-region long snapper at Chapman University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. He also holds a Master of Science in Sports Nutrition from Lamar.
