Biography

2020: Couch appeared in all four games…made eight tackles…had a season-high four stops at Texas Tech (9/12)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2019: Played in all 12 games as a junior…recorded 13 tackles…made two tackles four times, at UTEP (8/31), against Texas Southern (9/28), at Abilene Christian (10/12) and at McNeese (10/19)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2018: Appeared in nine games as a sophomore…recorded 11 tackles, half a sack and a pass breakup…made three tackles, 1.5 for losses and half a sack against Southwest Baptist (9/1)…had three stops at Southeastern Louisiana (10/13)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Previous School: Played at Palomar College for coach Joe Early, where he made 42 tackles, 13 for loss, and five sacks.

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner at Mt. Carmel High School for coach John Anderson. As a senior, Couch made 41 tackles, 12 for loss, and eight sacks, after recording 37 tackles, eight for loss, and six sacks as a junior...was named first-team all-league at offensive line and defensive end and was an academic all-league selection.
